Gulfstream Park 1st race – Post time: 12:10 ET
8-Part the Stars-GB (4-1)
Makes her debut with just two workouts listed on her tab, but both were in company with the talented 2-year-old colt Salt Spray (a strong second in his debut here yesterday), so we suspect this English-bred filly will be highly competitive in this five furlong dash over the all-weather surface. The Wesley Ward-trained filly, purchased as a yearling overseas for $110,000, lands Johnny V. and is one of two major contenders from this stable, the other being Scarpia, a strong second in her only prior outing at Saratoga and the likely choice and one to beat from her favorable rail draw. Both should be included in rolling exotic play with ‘Stars, certain to be the longer price of the two, worth strong consideration in the win pool as well.

Aqueduct 6th Race – Post time: 2:14 ET
10-My Betsy (5/2)
Had a couple of solid third place sprint runs at Saratoga, in both outings settling early and then picking it up through the lane to give every indication that she’ll enjoy a distance of ground. Drawn comfortably outside in this one turn mile, the daughter of Gun Runner seems certain to produce another forward move in her first outing in more than three months, and with a healthy recent work pattern to have her fit and ready the Bill Mott-trained filly offers solid value at 5/2 on the morning line in the win pool and in the various rolling exotics.
